3 Months Together- October 15th, 2012

Wow- 3 months together already!  In some ways it feels like so much more...like Lena has been part of our family forever.  We are blessed to be able to be called her mom and dad.  She is such a joy and is so bright.  She is a very happy girl who often wears the biggest smile on her face.  She loves being outside and going places, likely because she didn't have those opportunities as much in China.   Everyone who meets her loves her because her happiness is contagious.

Our first glimpse...we were so not prepared.  She was supposed to arrive at 3:30 p.m. and we were supposed to be there at 3 p.m.  We showed up at 3 p.m. to a little girl sitting in a chair waiting for us, though she didn't know she was waiting for anyone nor did she realize her life was about to totally change in an instant.

 Our first picture together with our daughter and our oldest son.  What a wonderful feeling to finally have a daughter and to finally be united with our daughter after waiting for her for a full year.

HOME with a FOREVER family!  What a change....thank you God!
